Emmy's Prayer for Sight: Kristen and Elmer Latchford
Kristen and Elmer Latchford launched their blog, Emmy's Prayer for Sight, to share the story of their daughter, Emmalyn Kae Latchford.
Emmy was born prematurely and it was discovered later that she had Optic Nerve Hypoplasia, a medical condition that results in underdevelopment of the optic nerves. However, Kristen and Elmer have found a hospital in China that is having amazing results in helping ONH babies and children to improve, many to the point of sight.
They hope to raise enough money for the hospital stay, treatments, doctor bills, and flight to China because none of this is covered by their medical insurance.
Their blog serves as a way to update readers on Emmy's progress and provide information on how others can help.
