Asbestos Legal Journal: Justinian C. Lane, Esq.
Starting in the late 19th century and running through the mid 20th, builders and manufacturers favored asbestos, a naturally-occuring fiber, for its fire-retardant properties. Unfortunately, exposure to asbestos fibers causes fatal illnesses such as lung cancer, mesothelioma, and a form of pneumoconiosis called asbestosis. Though production of goods containing asbestos has ceased, many people-- particularly those who worked with it-- are still experiencing its effects.
Asbestos Legal Journal aims to provide information about asbestos litigation to the individuals suffering from diseases related to asbestos exposure and their families. Author Justinian C. Lane has experienced first-hand what these victims are going through, and brings a personal touch to both his work with clients and the blog.
