Zadroga 9/11 Compensation Claims Info: Turley, Redmond, Rosasco & Rosasco, LLP, Daniel J. Hansen, Esq and Chet Lukaszewski, Esq.
In January, 2006, NYPD officer James Zadroga died of respitory failure attributed to his role as the recovery operations following the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. After years of work by lobbyists and activists, President Obama finally signed the Zadroga Act, which expands the death benefits for Ground Zero workers who die from diseases related to their efforts, into effect in January, 2011.
