It’s official. Eaton canned lead outside law firm Quarles & Brady of Milwaukee in the Frisby litigation. Here is the motion to withdraw.
This is not surprising. But why Eaton waited this long to distance itself from all the lawyers who touched the Ed Peters fiasco is one of the big mystery’s of the Frisby litigation.
Eaton is left represented by Mississippi legal heavyweights: Mike Wallace and John Sneed with Wise Carter; Fred Banks and Reuben Anderson with Phelps Dunbar; and John Corlew and Kathy Smith of Corlew, Munford and Smith.
With this defense team I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that we don’t see any more WTF legal maneuvers by Eaton.
