While many lawmakers have expressed the desire for major tort reform, lawyers—albeit, expectedly—don’t think it’s the best of ideas in many areas. And it isn’t only because it could mean less work for them, but also the fact that it could make many industries considerably more dangerous to consumers without lawyers holding businesses accountable.
