You may have noticed a lull in new posts here over the holidays.  There’s good reason: we’ve been renovating the site, like a hotel adding an omelet station to its continental breakfast. We had to break a few eggs in the process, but it was well worth it.

The key changes:

  • The blog should load faster—much faster.
  • We consolidated our many linked resources into fewer tabs on the top of the main page.
  • We made it easier to share posts, even from the main page, using the various social media buttons at the bottom of each previewed post.
  • We tweaked the font sizes a bit and cleaned up the overall look.

You’ll also notice that the blog has a new URL, ncapb.foxrothschild.com.  Can’t remember that?  Don’t worry—www.ncapb.com still works and will redirect you.

All our most popular features are still easily accessible, including our North Carolina Supreme Court Petition Tracker, guidance for Business Court appeals, decoder for appellate dispositions, glossary of appellate terms of art, collection of practice guides, links to our appellate treatise, and more.

Of course, our regular blog posts are the heart and soul of this blog.  We are committed to keeping you up to date on the latest from our appellate courts.  To that end, brace yourself; we have lots of great content in the blog queue that we will publish over the next several days.

Finally, if you like the new look and value the service we provide to the bench and bar, please spread the word, share on social media, and ask your friends to subscribe.
