LastPass has a new Security Dashboard to make it easier to check problematic passwords. The dashboard reviews all of your accounts and identifies those passwords that could pose a security risk. As Engadget reported, “When you first navigate to the Security Dashboard, you’ll see a score of all your logins, followed by a breakdown of passwords that are either old, inactive, weak or reused. You can click or tap on a problematic password to change it, and LastPass will automatically take you to the webpage where you can update your login information.”

LastPass now checks your accounts against compromised credentials in Enzoic’s database. Enzoic’s database is similar to Troy Hunt’s Have I Been Pnwd collection of compromised credentials from the dark web. If credentials are found in the database, you will receive notice via email and within the app. The dark web monitoring is available to subscribers of LastPass Premium, Family and Business. The Security Dashboard is available to all LastPass users.
