CHARLOTTE COUNTY FL – In an update to a serious hit-and-run car-vs-motorcycle crash on US 41 near North Port, Florida Highway Patrol has released photos of the vehicle and reported they are actively looking for the driver of a 2016 to 2017 white Honda Accord, possibly with Pennsylvania license plates that crashed into a motorcyclist seriously injuring him.

The crash took place Monday afternoon at the intersection of US 41 and Dahlgren Avenue, near the driveway of a Kia dealership. The injured motorcyclist was a 33-year-old man from Venice and was taken to a local hospital in serious condition after the crash.
