This week, we added five blogs to our community from a range of sectors, including business, health care, and employment. Plus, it is always a thrill when we can add one of the largest law firms in the world or one from another part of the globe—even better when we do both in one.

International law group Allens is one of the largest firms in Australia, and we’re proud to have them join our ranks. The firm has an incredibly rich history, boasting some oldest client relationships in the world—some going back more than 170 years. Their alliance with Linklaters, another global law firm and a member of London’s “Magic Circle,” helps the two mutually optimize success in pioneering legal and technical solutions for a variety of different sectors. Allens Linklaters has grown into a global network with 40 offices in 28 countries.

Their blog offers a variety of insights into court decisions, workers’ rights, new legislation, and other legal updates impacting businesses and individuals.

Matt Miklave, a nationally recognized employment, civil rights and labor-relations attorney and the solo practitioner of Miklave Law,  has launched his new blog Diving Deeper Into Work. Matt has advocated his clients in the courtroom for over 30 years in over 10 states, and he has even helped a client unanimously win a case with the Supreme Court. He has lectured and presented widely to a variety of audiences, including government decision-makers, legal groups, and HR organizations.

Matt’s blog will focus on news and insight into the labor and employment law industry. Matt has already begun establishing a distinct blogging voice that stands out as funny and interesting in his first post on mandatory vaccines for workers. You can read it here.

Health Care + Business Law

  • There are few, if any, law firms out there with as robust an employment law blog network as Jackson Lewis—and that keeps on growing. They added another publication to the community with the launch of the ERISA Litigation Advisor.
  • DSR Health Law keeps things rolling and has added their second blog to the LexBlog Community, this one updating clients and potential clients on legal and legislative updates and how they pertain to the health care industry.
  • Proskauer Rose has added to their list of over twenty publications with LexBlog. The Health Care Law Brief covers a variety of health care law issues, most recently pertinent content pertaining to COVID vaccines.
  •  Startup GC is a business law and finance blog run by Paul Swegle, a business and transactional attorney who serves as general counsel and mediator to several companies, helping them with sales, M&As, and other endeavors. Paul’s blog offers insight into a variety of issues in his niche, such as business ethics, equity compensation, and contract negotiation.
