BRADENTON FL – Florida Highway Patrol has responded to a fatal crash that involved a large commercial vehicle and sedan at the intersection of US 301 and 44th Avenue East early Thursday morning.
The fatal accident has caused the southbound lanes of US 301 to be closed, and troopers are diverting traffic from 30th Avenue East.
FHP is advising all motorists to avoid the area if possible to allow for authorities to investigate the crash and clear wrecked vehicles and debris from the highway.
FHP to issue an update on the accident later today.
