The Cambridge Trust annually offers scholarships to international students applying to one of the undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate programs of the University of Cambridge. The main criterion to be awarded the scholarship is academic performance and financial need. Only those students who have enrolled in one of the programs at the University of Cambridge who have financial difficulties can apply for the scholarship.
The Foundation offers a limited number of scholarships to undergraduate students, the main number of scholarships (85%) is intended for graduate and postgraduate students.
Students do not apply for a scholarship directly to the foundation, the scholarship application is submitted together with the admission application to the university.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- students of any nationality and citizenship (depending on the type of scholarship, the UK and EU countries may be excluded) can apply for the scholarship;
- applicants may study any subject currently available at the University;
- the foundation does not accept applications from students who are already studying at the University unless they are applying for funding in order to obtain a diploma of the highest category;
- candidates must start their studies in one of the undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate programs.
Application Process:
There are different procedures for applying for undergraduate (BA and similar) and postgraduate studies (Masters, PhD and similar). You must apply for admission to the University by the relevant deadline and have a conditional offer of admission to be considered for Cambridge Trust funding.
Applicants must apply for admission to their chosen study program by the deadline.
For graduate and postgraduate students, the deadlines vary according to the program timelines. There are two general course funding deadlines of 2 December 2021 and 6 January 2022.
