In order to provide Americans with access to affordable, reliable, and high-speed internet, the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program provides grants to eligible Native American, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native entities for broadband deployment, workforce development, telehealth, and digital inclusion projects. As part of the Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program, the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) has announced that it has awarded four grants, totaling $1.2 million, in California, Washington, and Wisconsin.
