LinkedIn is a social media platform tailored toward building professional connections. It also happens to be the leading social media platform for law professionals.

You can share to LinkedIn either by using a social media share button on a blog post, or going directly to Linkedin.com while signed into your profile.

Since LinkedIn is one platform where you aren’t limited too much by characters, feel free to paste most of your blog post directly here. No one has the time to click on every link they scroll by on their feed, but if you do the work for them and put the bulk of your post on LinkedIn, there’s a higher chance it will pique someone’s interest. Use hashtags and share your post in any relevant groups you may be a part of.

If your blog post cites anyone, tag them directly in your LinkedIn post. This will help your piece get seen by a wider array of eyes and let others know you’re writing in that niche and respectfully attributing work. By doing this, you have the opportunity to reach out to connect with that individual as well.
