As an active member on the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois’ Judicial Panel Planning Committee, Sarah E. Holtzman joined fellow committee members to coordinate an upcoming CLE program introducing Cook County’s new Domestic Relations judges and their perspectives on common family law issues. This panel will take place on Monday, May 9 from  12 – 1:30 pm CT.

The new series, “New Domestic Relations Judges Panel,” will feature insights from recently appointed judges in the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Domestic Relations Division, including:

  • Judge Maura McMahon Zeller
  • Judge Lloyd James Brooks

The panelists will examine family law fact patterns and different perspectives on family law related issues, including:

  • Child Tax Credit and Dependency Exemptions
  • Contribution Claim for Mortgage
  • Emergency Orders of Protection
  • Parenting Time with Allegations of Domestic Violence
  • Child Testimony
