Seismograph and earthquake

The California Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (CAPIA) is hosting a two-day conference on August 24 and 25. The details are as follows:

CAPIA Conference on Earthquake & Earth Movement August 24-25, 2022 at Second Home in Los Angeles, CA. Registrants can sign up for day one, day two, or both days.

Registration for the first day includes the Umpire and Appraiser Certification Course for 3 CE credits and the option to take the certification examination. It also includes the evening reception.

Registration for day two includes varied insurance presentations for 5 CE credits. It also includes breakfast, breaks, lunch, and the prior night’s reception.

Why did I highlight the Earthquake and Earth Movement first in the title? Correct, because I am giving a presentation about California earthquakes with San Francisco-based attorney Victor Jacobellis. The crazy thing is that the only earthquake claims I am working on in litigation are in Puerto Rico federal court.

So, the Almighty and his most special guardian angel know where earthquakes should not happen this August 24 and 25, and I hope to see you in Los Angeles for the most entertaining presentation about earthquakes and insurance you have ever seen.

Thought For The Day

Whether it is a tsunami, or whether it is a hurricane, whether it’s an earthquake – when we see these great fatal and natural acts, men and women of every ethnic persuasion come together and they just want to help.
