
According to the FDA, for the outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis (ref #1288), the product linked to illnesses has been identified as recalled Sweet Cream-brand mini pastries. See the outbreak advisory for additional information. FDA has initiated an inspection.
For the outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes (ref #1285), the case count increased from 34 to 35 cases. FDA has initiated an inspection and sample collection with no product identified – yet.
For the outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes (ref #1281), the case count increased from 32 to 34 cases with no product identified – yet.
For the outbreak of E. coli O145:H28 (ref #1282), FDA’s investigation has closed with no product identified.

For the outbreak of E. coli O26:H11 (ref #1272), FDA’s investigation has closed. CDC, FDA, and state partners conducted epidemiologic and traceback investigations and identified Alfalfa or Clover sprouts as the likely source of illnesses in this outbreak. Although sprouts were confirmed as the vehicle, investigators were unable to determine which type of sprouts was making people sick. FDA collected and analyzed product samples as part of the investigation, but all samples were reported as negative for E. coli. Additionally, once investigators had enough information to confirm sprouts as the source of this outbreak, the products were past their shelf life and no longer available for sale. This outbreak is over and there is no risk to consumers.
For the outbreak of E. coli O157:H7 (ref #1280), FDA’s investigation has determined that the source is Romaine Lettuce, and it has initiated, traceback, inspection and sampling. The FDA has not yet identified the supply chain, but most people in the food safety space know.
