Daniel Valencia is a solution-oriented litigator who handles the most complex intellectual property disputes for clients in a variety of industries from semiconductors to life sciences. Dan has tried numerous cases before judges and juries, and has briefed and argued appeals at the Federal Circuit.

He combines a background in electrical engineering with years of experience as a zealous advocate to provide clients with sophisticated, creative strategies in even the most challenging matters.

Dan has been recognized by Chambers USA as a leading litigator in Section 337 proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) with sources noting that Dan “understands the ITC like nobody else.” He previously worked at the ITC as a trial attorney, appellate counsel, and advisor to the Commissioners. He uses his familiarity with all levels of the ITC’s decision-making to offer practical and insightful advice to clients appearing at the ITC as both complainants and respondents. Dan has been involved in more than 50 Section 337 investigations since he began his work at the ITC in 2008.
