Kris enjoys the fast pace of the ever-changing life sciences industry in which she focuses her intellectual property (IP) and technology licensing practice.

As co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Life Sciences teams, Kris counsels clients on how to manage and protect their intellectual property and data and use their IP assets strategically. Kris drafts and negotiates complex agreements related to technology and software licensing, software and web development, joint development and confidentiality. She often negotiates these agreements for healthcare, higher education and biofuel clients.

3D printing continues to transform the medical field. Recently, doctors in Spain produced the world’s first 3D-printed rib cage and sternum, which is made entirely of titanium.
