Another disturbing case is being reported of a man attempting to induce his partner's abortion without her knowledge:

Airman 1st Class Scott Boie ofMilton, WI, is currently facing a court martial at Elmendorf Air ForceBase for allegedly giving his wife ulcer medication to induce themiscarriage of their unborn child.
…Air Forceprosecutors say he put the drug Meisoprostol [sic] in his wife's food withouther knowledge.
More on the story is available from the Associated Press. Misoprostol is an ulcer medication (sold in the U.S. under the brand name Cytotec). It has been used by doctors for many years for abortion and other gynecological and obstetric purposes.
