(with apologies to West Virginia for appropriating its tourism slogan)

When we started this blog a couple of months ago, I noted that the world of franchising is limited only by the vision of the entrepreneur.  But even I hadn’t realized how expressive that vision can be.

Ever been to Times Square in New York City?  Ever seen or heard of the Naked Cowboy?

Yep.  The October 2010 issue of Entrepreneur Magazine is reporting that the Naked Cowboy–who now has a Naked Cowgirl franchisee–is a franchised business called Naked Cowboy Enterprises.  There is even a lawsuit, alleging trademark infringement, against an unauthorized Naked Cowgirl competitor.

Oh my indeed!
