The Supreme Judicial Court has announced personnel changes in the Superior Court’s highly-regarded Business Litigation Session (BLS). As of January 1, 2011, Judge Judith Fabricant will take over as Administrative Justice of the BLS, replacing retiring Judge Margaret Hinkle. In addition to her administrative duties, Judge Fabricant will sit in BLS Session 1 for six-month stints, alternating with Judge Peter Lauriat. In BLS Session 2, Judges Janet Sanders and Christine Roach will sit in alternating six-month stints, replacing Judge Stephen Neel, who retires at the end of January.
