The 82nd session of the Texas Legislature began Tuesday, January 11.
As the session unfolds, the State Bar of Texas Governmental Relations department will closely monitor legislative proposals, including the State Bar’s own 2011 Legislative Program.
As a State Bar of Texas member service, the department publishes the free “Friday Update” e-newsletter each Friday during the session. The newsletter includes bill summaries and links, with an emphasis on proposals that might affect the legal profession.
