Obama's lack of a grand strategy criticized. I'm not sure. If he had a grand strategy, it would probably be wrong. This way, he can at least make up his mind as things develop. OTOH I have little confidence his judgment in the event will prove wise.
And also this. I would like to feel optimistic about Egypt, but it's just not in me at the moment. I find it hard to believe the Army will lead any sort of transition to Western-style, liberty loving democracy. Some sort of Islamist nightmare seems more likely to me. Some sort of leadership by the US might help, but seems unlikely too.
And what if Sarah Palin had said the Muslim Brotherhood was secular?
