Fox Rothschild is proud to announce that we have become a charter member of the newly launched Professional Athlete Franchise Initiative (PAFI).
PAFI plays a unique role in connecting the franchise community and professional athletes with each other, and Fox Rothschild is excited to be a part of this effort. PAFI’s stated Mission is:
To advocate the value of the franchise industry to the professional athlete community while at the same time advocate the value of the athlete community to the franchising industry.
- PAFI will provide a centralized platform for athletes seeking to get involved in the franchise industry and franchisors interested in getting involved with the professional athlete community.
- PAFI will serve as a hub of education, research and interaction for the professional athletes and franchisors seeking a synergistic relationship.
- PAFI will exist as both a virtual tool and a real world bridge between professional athletes and the franchise industry.
Fox Rothschild believes this endeavor will help prepare many professional athletes for life after their athletic careers end. Athletes have shown they can succeed on the field, on the court, and on the ice. PAFI aims to assist athletes at having just as much success in the business world. The training and support offered by a franchise system can pave the way for such success. Just as importantly, a franchise system can benefit from the talents, capital and recognition that these athletes can deliver in the clutch. PAFI is consequently a win-win for franchisors and athletes.
The International Franchise Association recently announced its partnership with PAFI and its participation in PAFI’s 2011 Franchise Summit to be held from July 11-13 in Atlanta, Georgia. We look forward to being there as well.
