Abigail LeGrow will become the newest Master in Chancery.  Ms. LeGrow comes to the Court of Chancery from her position as a corporate litigation associate at Potter Anderson & Corroon, where she has practiced since 2005.  According to the press release, “[t]he Masters adjudicate cases assigned to them by the Court and also play an important administrative role in ensuring that the Court handles its case load in a timely manner, particularly in the sensitive areas of trusts and estates and guardianships.”  In connection with this selection, Chancellor Leo E. Strine, Jr. provided that: “Abby LeGrow stood out as having the intellectual capacity, work ethic, and ability to make timely decisions that is required for this important position.”

Karlis Johnson will become the Court Administrator and Register in Chancery. Ms. Johnson previously served as a Judicial Assistant to Chancellor Strine from 1998 to 2002, and more recently as an Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff for Delaware Governor Jack Markell.
