I will be speaking at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., on Thursday in a debate with Prof. Adam Levitin of Georgetown Law Center over the role of the CFPB.
The debate, “CFPB: Genesis, Development, Expectations,” is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Preston Auditorium at the World Bank Headquarters, in Washington, D.C., and is part of the World Bank’s “Law, Justice and Development Week 2011.”
Organizers of the event have informed us that our session has sparked considerable interest, and that the audience is expected to include dozens of members of the World Bank’s Working Group On the Treatment of Personal Insolvency—policy makers, judges, and various specialists from around the world—as well as several prominent United States Bankruptcy Court judges.
