BakerHostetler recently announced the release of the Firm’s 2012 Year-end Review of Class Action (and what to expect in 2013), which offers a summary of some of the key developments in class action litigation during the past year.  The Review includes an examination of developments, trends, and notable decisions in antitrust class actions during 2012 prepared by the Firm’s antitrust group.

The Review’s comprehensive analysis of last year’s developments in class action procedure and jurisdiction, as well as developments by subject matter, will hopefully provide context and insight as you look ahead to 2013’s expected trends in class action law, including the proliferation of class actions involving food and agriculture, privacy, and LIBOR rate-fixing issues.

The Review is a joint project of the firm’s Class Action Defense, Antitrust, Data Privacy, and Employment Class Action practice teams and is the fruit of collaborative efforts of numerous attorneys from across the Firm.  If you are interested in receiving a hard copy of the Review, please email us and we will be happy to send one to you.

For updates throughout the year, please be sure to visit the blogs sponsored by each of these practice teams:  Antitrust Advocate, Class Action Lawsuit Defense Blog, Data Privacy Monitor, and Employment Class Action Blog.
