New Jersey is offering an incentive to companies that hire and train former pharmaceutical workers, in an effort to fully support and leverage the state’s highly skilled pharmaceutical talent. Each employer will be reimbursed 50 to 90 percent of a new hire’s salary for up to six months and a maximum of $14,000. The workers covered under the grant include employees who were displaced from Bristol-Myers Squibb, Hoffman-La Roche, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co. and Pfizer companies.
