While I’m grateful for the quote, the best part of the article, in my view anyway, are the comments by my old boss, Rodney Grandon, the Air Force Suspending and Debarring Official, on what the GAO audit’s metrics mean (not a lot, as has been discussed at length here and elsewhere) and on the government’s efforts to step up overall quality/uniformity of its debarment practice. Reading between the lines the government has come a long way, but knows there is more work to be done.
