On May 9, 2014 the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) issued an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking under Section 8 of the Toxic Substances Control Act seeking public comment on whether companies must disclose the chemicals used in hydraulic fracturing (fracking).
