The Ohio Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management has published for comment new well pad construction rules: “The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management (DOGRM), welcomes comments regarding draft rules for construction of horizontal well sites from all interested parties. The draft rules have been amended to address comments that have been received since February 28, 2014. The draft rule package includes eight new definitions in Chapter 1501:9-2-01 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC); standards for design, approval, and construction of horizontal well sites in Chapter 1501:9-2-02 of the OAC; and referenced industry standards in Chapter 1501:9-12 of the OAC.”
