Sandra Tvarian Stevens, a partner in Wiley Rein’s Insurance Practice will be speaking at a joint program sponsored by the D.C. Bar Litigation Section’s ADR Committee, the American Arbitration Association, the College of Commercial Arbitrators, and JAMS on May 14, 2015. The program, “Effective Advocacy and Management in Arbitration,” will present arbitration best practices from the perspective of seasoned practitioners in commercial law and arbitration. The program will address a variety of topics such as drafting the arbitration agreement, pre-hearing preparation, interim and final awards, as well as ethical obligations of arbitrators and advocates.
