On April 16, 2015, Senior Associate Michael Dover lead a “Workshop on Cloud Computing and Wireless Networks” at the 2015 Wireless Telecommunications Symposium in New York City. The presentation addressed 21st century concerns with cloud computing and its specific application to wireless networks.
Discussion topics included:
- popular cloud computing service models,
- the technology and infrastructure underlying cloud computing networks,
- how cloud computing can improve business and efficiency, and
- highlight several best practices and regulatory responsibilities that companies should consider.
The symposium featured global telecommunications thought leaders and includes industry representatives from AT&T, IBM and Bell Labs Research/Alcatel-Lucent.
