Veterans and spouses of deceased veterans can receive legal advice at no cost on Saturday, June 13, during a clinic sponsored by the Galveston County Bar Association and the Houston Bar Foundation’s Veterans Legal Initiative.

Volunteer attorneys will be at the Texas City VA Outpatient Clinic, 9300 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway, Ste. 206, from 9 a.m. to noon to offer counsel in any area of law—including family, wills and probate, consumer, real estate, tax, and disability and veterans benefits. Those who need ongoing legal representation and who qualify for legal aid may be assigned a pro bono attorney to handle their case.

No appointment is necessary. For more information, or to learn about other services for veterans, call the Veterans Legal Initiative at (713) 759-1133 or go to hba.org.
