Managing data for litigation really shouldn’t be that difficult. However, as our industry has matured over the last decade or so, there has been a continual progression towards complexity rather than simplification. This has alienated many talented litigators who are understandably not interested in becoming digital scientists and has irked corporate clients who often don’t know what is really going on. Over-engineered workflows that cobble together multiple uber-sophisticated tools create complexity that sustains many highly profitable revenue models often without delivering effective client outcomes.
