The Brazoria County Bar Association and the Houston Bar Foundation’s Veterans Legal Initiative are hosting a free legal clinic for veterans Saturday, October 17, at the Lake Jackson VA Outpatient Clinic, 208 Oak Dr. South.
Volunteer lawyers will be available from 9:00 a.m. to noon to answer questions on any area of law, including family, wills and probate, and disability and veterans benefits. Any veteran—or spouse of a deceased veteran—is welcome to attend, and those who need ongoing legal representation and who qualify for legal aid may be assigned a pro bono attorney to handle their case.
