Recently, the U.S. Department of State (DOS) released the January 2016 Visa Bulletin, including both the “Application Final Action Dates” and “Dates for Filing”. The most significant movement in the “final action dates” for the employment-based is in EB-2 category for India nationals, which moved to February 1, 2008. There has also been slight movement for EB-3 category for China, India, and Mexico. The dates for filing chart basically remains unchanged in the employment-based categories, expect for EB-3 for Mexico, which moved to January 2016. As of today, USCIS has not yet confirmed whether they will accept the adjustment of status applications based on the date of filing chart in January 2016 visa bulletin.
