The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is soliciting comments on the proposed reissuance and modification of the existing nationwide permits (NWPs), general conditions, and definitions. The Corps proposes to add two new NWPs and one new general condition and seeks comment on several modifications to the existing NWPs, general conditions, and definitions.

The Corps published the notice of proposed rulemaking in the Federal Register on Wednesday, June 1, 2016. Comments on the proposal are due sixty days after publication, but the Corps notes that, because of the timing of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) review, comments about the proposed information collection requirements should be submitted within thirty days. The proposed rule is available here.
