Temporary housing program extended for Louisiana flood victims

FEMA has agreed to extend its “Transitional Sheltering Assistance” program in Louisiana through February 9, 2017 for flood victims. The previous deadline was January 17, 2017. The program allows displaced families to live in government subsidized hotel and motel rooms.
