Clifton NJ Simple Assault LawyersClifton NJ police arrested three people after a fight broke out at a popular nightclub. The altercation was reportedly caused by confusion over Daylight Saving Time.

The fight occurred just after 2:00 a.m. at the Bliss Lounge on Allwood Road in Clifton, New Jersey. According to law enforcement officials, club management made the decision to stop allowing people inside the building due to the time jump. Moreover, the building had reportedly reached its capacity.

Several people initially denied entry to the nightclub allegedly rushed the doors and forced their entry into the club.

Once inside the nightclub, the additional people reportedly started a brawl.

Nightclub workers dialed 911 and alerted the Clifton Police Department, which dispatched police officers to the scene. Additionally, officers with the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department also arrived to help.

Police officers ultimately arrested three people, including one person who reportedly had a firearm with a valid NJ carry license.

Two of the suspects faces charges for disorderly conduct, while the third suspect faces very serious criminal charges for illegal possession of a handgun.
