Passaic NJ Theft AttorneysAn East Orange man will likely spend decades in prison after pleading guilty to the armed robbery of a Passaic NJ club.

The suspect is a 29-year-old man from East Orange, NJ. He was reportedly among a group of men who robbed a bar in Passaic, New Jersey.

The suspect reportedly brandished a gun during the September 2015 armed robbery and threatened to shoot a bar employee.

Authorities eventually identified the alleged robbers and arrested them. The East Orange NJ suspect was subsequently charged with multiple crimes, including armed robbery and weapons offenses.

The suspect managed to avoid trial in the case by reaching a plea deal with the U.S. Attorney’s Office and pleading guilty to armed robbery. The suspect will have to appear in U.S. District Court in September 2017 for official sentencing.

Two other suspects were also charged for the Passaic armed robbery. Those suspects, a 32-year-old Irvington NJ man and a 28-year-old South Orange man, were indicted by a grand jury in March 2017.
