Paramus NJ Heroin Possession LawyersParamus NJ police recently arrested two people who allegedly possessed a large amount of heroin in their vehicle.

The suspects are a 20-year-old Albany New York woman and a 45-year-old Jersey City NJ man. According to law enforcement officials, the two suspects were in a motor vehicle and headed northbound on Route 17 in Paramus, NJ.

A couple of Paramus NJ patrol cops reportedly observed the suspects’ vehicle traveling at 70 miles per hour and speeding on the roadway. Police officers made a traffic stop and spoke to the driver.

At some point, the Paramus NJ police officers searched the suspects’ car. The search of the motor vehicle allegedly led to the discovery of more than 1,800 bags of heroin with a street value of roughly $15,000.

The suspects were subsequently arrested and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute. If the suspects are ultimately convicted on the very serious drug distribution charges, they could potentially be sentenced to many years behind bars in NJ State Prison.

After being arrested and charged, the suspects were transported to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey.
