Law enforcement in Pennsylvania arrested a Paterson NJ who allegedly sexually assaulted a juvenile.
The suspect is a 44-year-old male from Paterson, New Jersey. According to Pennsylvania authorities, the suspect raped an underage boy at a home located in Allentown, PA.
Allentown PA police were made aware of the alleged sexual assault and started an investigation. Detectives spoke to the suspect and placed him under arrest shortly after he reportedly confessed to the sexual offense.
The suspect has been charged with multiple sex crimes, including rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, and indecent assault. If the suspect is ultimately convicted on the most serious sex crime charges, he could face prison time in Pennsylvania.
Beyond that, the suspect would likely have to register as a convicted sex offender after serving any prison sentence.
The suspect is currently being held at the Lehigh County Jail on a bail amount of $150,000.
