Fort Lee NJ Traffic LawyersPolice officers recently arrested a New Milford man who allegedly committed numerous toll evasion offenses in Fort Lee NJ and other parts of New Jersey.

The suspect is a 37-year-old man from New Milford, New Jersey. According to law enforcement, the suspect was driving his motor vehicle on the lower level of the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee and heading eastbound around 9:00 a.m. when patrol cops observed him commit a traffic violation by passing through an EZ Pass toll lane without an EZ Pass.

Port Authority police officers stopped the suspect’s vehicle and asked him to show an EZ Pass tag. When the suspect failed to provide the necessary information, police officers ran a computer check on him. The computer check reportedly revealed that the suspect had 642 active traffic infractions on his record. According to officials, the traffic violations totaled $41,200, with numerous charges stemming from unpaid tolls.

Police officers placed the suspect under arrest and transported him to police headquarters for processing. He could face jail time if convicted of the charges against him.
