Newark Heroin Distribution LawyersPolice officers recently arrested two men after allegedly discovering more than 300 pounds of illegal drugs in a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike in Newark, NJ.

The suspects, a 33-year-old man and a 42-year-old man, are both from California. According to law enforcement officials, the suspects were driving a tractor-trailer when patrol cops observed the vehicle commit multiple traffic violations. Police officers pulled over the tractor-trailer and walked toward the vehicle.

When cops got close to the tractor-trailer, one of the suspects reportedly attempted to conceal a large bag.

A subsequent police search of the vehicle reportedly led to the discovery of duffel bags filled with approximately 310 pounds of cocaine and heroin.

The two suspects were arrested and charged with drug offenses that include possession of heroin with intent to distribute and conspiring to possess cocaine.
