Man Admits Armed Robbery of Club in Passaic, NJ

Passaic NJ Robbery Law FirmA South Orange man will be spending a long time behind bars after he pleaded guilty to armed robbery charges in connection with the theft of a club in Passaic, New Jersey.

The suspect is a 29-year-old man from South Orange in Essex County, NJ. According to federal authorities, the suspect used a handgun to commit a robbery at a club located in Passaic, New Jersey on September 6, 2015.

The suspect, and another man, reportedly held up the Passaic NJ business and stole approximately $26,000. They then allegedly left the scene in a getaway vehicle driven by a third man.

Police chased the suspects through Passaic and Newark before the suspects tried to make a run for it on foot. Police officers were able to to apprehend the main suspect.

The South Orange NJ suspect was faced federal criminal charges for conspiracy to commit a robbery and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence. Now that he has pleaded guilty to the charges, he is looking at a lengthy term of incarceration in a federal penitentiary.
