Ridgewood Sexual Assault ChargesPolice officers recently arrested a Kearny, New Jersey man who allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl in Ridgewood, NJ.

The suspect is a 22-year-old man who lives in Kearny in Hudson County, NJ. According to Bergen County law enforcement officials, the suspect sexually assaulted the 15-year-old victim at an undisclosed location in Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Ridgewood law enforcement got a report of the alleged sex crime and immediately got in touch with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office. Detectives with both law enforcement agencies then worked together to investigate the situation.

The suspect was eventually placed under arrest and charged with multiple sex crimes, including sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

If the Kearny, NJ suspect is ultimately convicted on the most serious charges, he could face a sentence of up to 10 years behind bars in New Jersey State Prison.
After being arrested and charged, the suspect was moved to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey.
