Fort Lee NJ Marijuana LawyerFort Lee NJ police officers recently arrested someone who allegedly possessed marijuana and other illegal drugs while he drove through the borough.

The suspect is a 32-year-old man from Milford, Delaware. Fort Lee patrol officers stopped his vehicle, a Nissan, on Routes 1&9 South around 1:00 a.m. after they allegedly saw him commit multiple traffic offenses, including speeding, tailgating another car, and using a cell phone while driving.

When the Fort Lee cops walked toward the suspect’s car, a Nissan, they reportedly smelled marijuana coming from inside the car. A Fort Lee K-9 later searched the vehicle and allegedly found two pounds of marijuana hidden in the trunk. Police officers also reportedly found four ounces of psilocybin mushrooms in the trunk.

The suspect was arrested and charged with multiple drug crimes, including distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspect was also issued citations for several traffic violations.
