East Orange, NJ police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a local man during the late-night hours.
The victim was a 21-year-old man from East Orange in Essex County, New Jersey. According to law enforcement officials, the victim was walking along the 100 block of Park Avenue at around 1:00 a.m. when someone violently attacked him.
East Orange police officers and paramedics were called to the scene, but they were unable to do anything to save the victim. The victim was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene of the stabbing.
East Orange police detectives are working with Essex County Prosecutor’s Office detectives to investigate the homicide and determine who was responsible.
If the culprit is identified and arrested, they could face very serious charges for first degree murder.
