Our new communications manager is Brittany Booth, a well-rounded addition to the team.

After receiving her B.S. in both Multimedia Communications and Art from Olivet Nazarene University in 2015, Brittany started working in Kankakee as a freelance photographer, reporter, and graphic designer for a local newspaper: The Daily Journal. Although she enjoyed being able to practice her creativity in the field of journalism, she wanted to use her skills in a new way—through marketing.

It was perfect timing and truly God’s plan when she landed at Mauck & Baker, an opportunity that suddenly opened as she had a lull in her previous work.

Brittany began her work at Mauck & Baker in mid-June and has already embraced her goal to bring more clients in through social media and brand awareness.

“Working with a company that values Jesus’ teachings has been a dream of mine, so I’m glad Mauck & Baker has given me this opportunity,” she said. “I am really looking forward to getting more experience managing communications, especially for a company that is making a positive difference in their community.”

So far, Brittany has witnessed numerous examples of Mauck & Baker’s dedication to their faith and how that factors into their practice. “Through my involvement with Mauck & Baker’s communications department, I hope to be able to express how important their clients are to them.”

Outside of work, Brittany loves to taste and create new culinary dishes, rock climb, and spend quality time with her husband, Seth. She is especially fond of animals as well as creative storytelling through film and art.
